Dear Parents and Carers,
Well done to everyone in Year 6 who completed their national statutory assessments this week. We encourage our children to have a go and to do their best and every one of them has demonstrated that this week. One use of SATS is that they can show a child’s attitude to learn-ing, determination and willingness to persevere– all qualities we encourage in all our children regardless of academic ability as these are skills we know are important in life. The ability to have a go, to give it your best shot, to rise to a challenge and not give up, even when things seem difficult, are real life skills.
